Herr Wesam Elrefaei

Wesam is the Regional Solution Manager at AIKO ANZ and a Clean Energy Council (CEC) accredited designer of grid-connected PV systems. With a Master’s in Sustainable Energy Engineering from RMIT and additional training from Monash University, Wesam brings deep expertise in system design, technical sales, and inverter technologies. His experience spans microinverters, multi-MPPT, central inverters, and battery storage, backed by strong proficiency in industry-standard solar design and performance analysis software.

Herr James Sturch

James is a renewable energy professional with an honours degree in Industrial Design and is a UNSW graduate in applied photovoltaics. He sits on EL-042 and EL-054 Standards Australia committees, has full SAA installer accreditation for solar and storage design & and installation and a full electrical contractor license. He has been chair of the CEC’s Distributed Energy Directorate since 2019, is chair of the Energy Storage and National Construction Code working groups, is the CEC representative for DISER committee for Cyber Security and ISC Working Group on Cyber Security of DER. James actively contributes to the industry by participating in many other stakeholder panels for DER and VPP development with various agencies and DNSP’s. James is a founding mentor in the Clean Energy Council’s Women in Renewables mentoring program.
